전 세계 입양된 사람들의 목소리를 담아 큰 반향을 일으킨 『입양랜드 1』에 이어, 이제 『입양랜드 2』에서는 입양으로 자녀를 잃은 부모님들, 특히 국제 입양으로 자녀를 빼앗긴 어머니들의 목소리를 담고자 합니다.

입양의 수요를 채우기 위해 희생당한 이들의 이야기는 이제 반드시 세상에 알려져야 합니다.
당신의 목소리는 더 이상 침묵 속에 머물지 않아도 됩니다.
이제 당신의 진실을 말할 차례입니다.

Call for Submissions – Adoptionland 2: From Orphans to Activists

This book records the truth to help future generations avoid the same suffering and to prevent the unjust separation of families from happening again.

• Have you lost a child to adoption, especially international adoption?
• Were you pressured, coerced, or misled into giving up your baby?
• Is your child still missing, taken overseas, and you’ve never been given a voice to tell your story?

We are calling on Korean mothers and families impacted by the global adoption system to come forward and contribute to the second volume of Adoptionland: From Orphans to Activists. While the first book gave adopted people from around the world the space to speak their truth, this second anthology is dedicated to the parents and families left behind—especially mothers whose children were taken to satisfy the demand for adoption.

If your child was taken, lost, or sent away through international adoption—whether through force, shame, lies, or pressure—you are not alone. Your voice matters. Your story matters. This is your chance to share the truth and to help prevent the same tragedy from happening to others.

By joining together, we can expose the unjust tactics used to separate families, hold institutions accountable, and protect future generations from unnecessary adoptions. Submissions can be anonymous. Support is available.

Let’s ensure the world hears the voices of the mothers and families who were never meant to be silenced.
